DAY 1 Arrival in Paro & transfer to Thimphu
Once you arrive in Paro, you will be received by our representative and guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Thimphu. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. After taking some rest get ready for the amazing Sightseeing’s
Trashi Chhoe Dzong: Also called Fortress of the Glorious Religion, situated on north of the city on west bank of the Wang Chhu, the Dzong was the site of the lavish formal coronation of the fifth King in 2008 and hosts the city’s biggest annual bash, the colourful tsechu festivities. The opening times 5-6 PM Mon-Fri, 8 AM-6 PM Sat & Sun.
National Library: Housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; the Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School) is where students undergo a 6-year training course in Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts.
Spend rest of the evening at leisure and enjoy a warm dinner before you go to bed.
DAY 2 Sightseeing tour of Thimphu
After the lovely breakfast in morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour to:
Zorig Chusum - The Institute (commonly known as the Painting School) where students undergo a 6-year training course in Bhutan's 13 traditional arts and crafts.
Textile and Folk Heritage Museum - A fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions.
King's Memorial Chorten – The Beautiful Chorten was built in the memory of Bhutan's third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. People are continuously circumambulating the chorten, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels.
Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops- One must visit to the emporium to browse through examples of Bhutan's fine traditional arts. Here you can buy hand-woven textiles, thangkha paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewellery, interesting items made from local materials.
Trashi Chhoe Dzong, 'fortress of the glorious religion'- This is the centre of government and religion, site of the monarch's throne room and seat of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot.
In the evening, return to your hotel and rest overnight after a delicious dinner.
DAY 3 Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast in the hotel get ready for the sight-seeing of the beautiful town of Paro.
Drukgyal Ruin Dzong: Originally a fortress and Buddhist monastery, it is now in ruins and is located in the upper part of Paro valley. The Dzong was built by Tenzin Drukdra in 1649 at the behest of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to commemorate victory over an invasion from Tibet. In the early 1950s Drukgyal Dzong was almost completely destroyed by fire.
Kyichu Lhakhang: Built in 659 by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. It is believed to be one of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness residing in the Himalyas and is also one of the oldest Temples in Bhutan.
National Museum of Paro: Housed inside the revamped Ta-dzong building in Paro, National Museum of Bhutan is a cultural museum that has put on display the antique items gathered from different parts of the country.
Rinpung Dzong: is a fortress-monastery that serves both as a civil administrative center and as a monastic home for a community of monks. Most dzongs were built in the mid-1600s to protect the inhabited valleys from invasion by Tibet. The Paro Dzong was started in 1644 on the order of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the unifier of modern day Bhutan. Unlike most of the Dzongs in Bhutan, it survived the massive 1897 earthquake mostly unscathed, though it was damaged by fire in 1907.
In the evening, return to your hotel and rest overnight after a delicious dinner.
Day 04: Departure
Transfer to airport for your departure flight. Our tour staff will bid you farewell at the airport

For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnels hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.
Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.
Mode of Payment: Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).
For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Wildlife Safaris cancellation: All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.
Our Liabilities & Limitations: Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
Passports & Visas (This condition is only valid for International Packages)
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Early Check-in / Late Check -out
Please note that standard check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 1500 hrs/12 noon Local time. Therefore cost of early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depend upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.
Extra Uses of our Vehicle
Please note that cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) does not include extra usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.
Rights to amend the itinerary if required
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
Please Note : We will not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc.
