Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.
Day 1 Arrival in Paro & transfer to Thimphu (65 km/ 02 hour drive approximately)
Once you arrive in Paro, you will be received by our representative and guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Thimphu. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Depending on arrival time, we can proceed for sightseeing or relax in the hotel.

Trashi Chhoe Dzong: Also called Fortress of the Glorious Religion, situated on north of the city on west bank of the Wang Chhu, the Dzong was the site of the lavish formal coronation of the fifth King in 2008 and hosts the city’s biggest annual bash, the colourful tsechu festivities. The opening times 5-6 PM Mon-Fri, 8 AM-6 PM Sat & Sun.
National Library: Housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; the Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School) is where students undergo a 6-year training course in Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts.
Spend rest of the evening at leisure enjoy a warm dinner before you go to bed.
Day 2 Thimphu sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning we will visit handmade paper mill, School of Arts and crafts (closed on Sundays, government holidays) where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan.
Textile and Folk Heritage Museum - A fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions.
We drive pass by memorial chorten - King's Memorial Chorten, built in the memory of Bhutan's third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. People are continuously circumambulating the chorten, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels.
Buddha Viewpoint - Located at a short drive from Thimphu city centre, visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley.
Changangkha Lhakhang-The oldest temple in the valley, Enclosure where national animal, Takin are kept and Zilukha Nunnery.

Day 3 Thimphu to Punakha (72 km/ 03 hour drive approximately)
Early in the morning after the lovely breakfast check out from the hotel and drive pass through Dochula pass, the most beautiful pass in Bhutan.
108 Druk Wangyel Chortens - Built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important than another passes. When the weather permits one can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a sight that stretches almost 180 degrees.
After a photo break, we will continue our drive to warm valley of Punakha.
On arrival, check into the hotel after some rest get ready for amazing sightseeing’s
Afternoon, we will visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzong, which houses the most elaborated temple in the country. The Dzong, showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan.

Day 4 Punakha to Trongsa (156 km/ 05 hour drive approximately)
After early morning breakfast check out of the hotel and visit Chimi Lhakhang on foot, the temple of fertility associated with religious art of phallus. En route, stop to see Wangi ruin dzong.
Continue the journey to Trongsa over Pelela Pass at 3300m which forms the part of Black Mountain Range that divides the country into east and west.
On arrival in Trongsa,check in at the lovely hotel and after some rest visit Tronga Dzong which was ancient home of our royals.

Day 5 Trongsa – Jakar (65 km/ 03 hour drive approximately)
After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Watch tower which houses a museum now and further drive pass by Yotongla pass
En route, stop over the weaving place, beside the road where “Yatha” (wool weaving) is done which the valley of Bumthang is famous for.
White bird fortress Jakar Dzong. - The Jakar Yugyel Dzong, commonly known as the Jakar Dzong, is located in the Chamkhar valley of Bumthang, situated on a ledge above Bjakar village.
Evening we will relax in the hotel in Jakar or walk into the town by foot.

Day 6 Jakar sightseeing
After the lovely breakfast visit Jampay Lakhang, the one of the first 2 Buddhist temples built in the country. This is the home of the naked dance that is still performed annually.
Kurjey temple -The site where the royals are cremated. One can either walk cross the suspension bridge and visit the village of Parar and Tamshing on foot or drive there.
End your day with a walk passing by the Swiss farm.
Evening stroll in Jakar town and try some local pancake and noodles.

Day 7 Jakar to Phobjikha (188 km/ 07 hour drive approximately)
After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to the valley of Black-necked crane. Black-necked crane is one of the rare specials of the birds in the world, which migrates from Tibetan plateau to Bhutan in winters.
On arrival in Phobjikha check in the hotel and after some rest, get ready for the amazing sightseeing
Gangtey Gompa, the largest and the only monastery of the Nyingmapa sect in western Bhutan and take 2 hours natural tail walk before checking into the hotel.
Evening relax in your hotel. Overnight stay in Phobjikha
Day 8 Phobjikha to Paro (192 km/ 06 hour drive approximately)
After the early breakfast get check out from the hotel and drive to Paro.
Check in the hotel in Paro and after some rest get ready for the amazing sightseeing’s:
National Museum, the first of its kind which has a collection from natural history to religious paintings.
Paro Dzong (Fortress) on foot and continue walking through the oldest wooden bridge still in use.
Kichu Lhakhang, one from the two oldest temples built in 7th century.
Evening stroll old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores.

Day 9 Paro sightseeing
In the morning, we will hike to Tiger’s Nest Temple, the most revered temple in the country that literally hangs on a granite cliff overlooking the Paro valley at 900m above the valley floor. The temple is associated with Guru Rimpoche who visited in 8th century and believed to have meditated three months in this cave and converted entire valley into Buddhism. It is 2 hours walk up hill for an average hiker; however it can take our almost entire day too.
Evening back to the hotel and relax.

Day 10 Departure: Take away the sweet memories of Bhutan .Transfer to airport for your departure flight. Our tour staff will bid you farewell at the airport

For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount should be paid before the commencement of the services. Management personnels hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service. Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.
Mode of Payment: Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).
For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Wildlife Safaris cancellation: All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.
Our Liabilities & Limitations: Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
Passports & Visas (This condition is only valid for International Packages)
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost. Any loss of any documents including Passport during tour will be clients responsibility.
Early Check-in / Late Check -out
Please note that standard check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 1500 hrs/12 noon Local time. Therefore cost of early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depend upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.
Extra Uses of our Vehicle
Please note that cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) does not include extra usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.
